Just finished the illustration of Davy Jones. He died this week at the age of 66. The portrait is a depiction of Davy Jones at a younger age. For me his very essence of his character always seemed very youthful. You can find more info on his passing via this CNN article.

Working on this sketch of Monkees Celebrity Davy Jones. I decided to do a quick pencil sketch and now I'll bring the portrait in Photoshop to touch up and prepare to digitally paint in Corel. I'll keep you guys posted. It seems like we are losing so many talented celebrities recently.
